Sensory Processing, Trauma and Attachment
For Professionals Trained in DMM

This two-day course will look at how neuroscience and attachment theories inform our clinical practice: Participants will be introduced to the sensory attachment model of function, dysfunction and intervention. It will explore and discuss how sensory processing and attachment history contribute to regulation of arousal states and strategic behaviour. Participants will learn about the regulating properties of food, play, and leisure activities.

Clinical Interpretation 
& Report Writing

This course aims to provide a practical framework for reporting clinical findings and recommendations in a manner that is meaningful to parents and professionals. It also provides an opportunity for Therapists to review the key elements of the SAI Model.  Therapists will be provided with the most recent editions of SAI assessment tools and the SAI Model of: Function; Dysfunction; Intervention; and Enriched Environment Provision.
